The full-sized,walkout basement is dry and I could make it into a family room, workout area or use it for additional storage.It really does appear that the current owners have taken great care of home over the years. It IS close to a major thoroughfare,though,but the owners had fenced in part of the large yard when their children were young and had no issues.The gentleman owner had a successful used car business in the past and had removed the fence along Rt 9W for better viewing for his potential drive-by car buyers. Recently, he contemplated making a relatively minimal investment in solid or natural fencing for additional privacy and noise reduction. There is a circular driveway that allows for free-flowing access in-to and out-of the property, which sure does make it easy to enter the spacious 2-car garage (with woodstove) and for dropping people and groceries close to the home's entrance.Convenienty, the home is a short distance from the Amtrak and Metro-North railway stations,the NYS Thruway and all that Esopus and Kingston have to offer.
